We
are a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to help all children break
the cycle of failure to achieve school and lifetime success. CDL is
founded on the premise that although all children learn differently,
every child wants to learn, every child can learn, and every child
deserves to learn by being taught in ways that improve their chances for
success. CDL's goal is to activate and achieve sweeping change in the
way all children are taught.
"In 1992 I began
pursuing my dream. With personal experience and 28 years professional
education experiences combined, I began the challenge of establishing
the Center for Development and Learning with the belief that each child
can learn if teacher, parent and child all understand how that child
learns."
