Our aim is to help parents, and those who advise them, to choose schools for dyslexic children. All schools included in the Register are visited regularly to ensure they continue to meet the criteria set by CReSTeD.

CreSTeD have a Parents' Checklist To Ascertain Whether A School Can Meet A Dyslexic Student's Special Educational Needs – there is detailed information on each of the following points:-

Identify the student's needs clearly

Preliminary Research

Visit the School

Enquire about Delivery of the School's Curriculum

Talk to SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator)

Visit a Class

Summing Up
